Section 1: Solo Gliders Under no condition will a glider be sold to be a single glider. If a single glider is purchased they must be in one of the following situations. A: There is/ are glider(s) in the home that the glider will be introduced to within an appropriate amount of time. If and the introduction is unsuccessful the buyer will contact me, the seller immediately to consult on what is to be done next. B. Buyer has intentions to purchase another glider to be paired with the current glider. This MUST be done within 6 months of purchasing glider.
Section 2: Breeding and Neutering If two gliders are purchased and is a brother sister relation then the male must be neutered by 4 months of age, or before leaving parents. No exceptions. If a joey is being sold to you for any other reason strictly as a non-breeder you MUST initial the Non Breeding Agreement as well. **NON BREEDING AGREEMENT: Please initial below if the glider(s) is being bought with the intention on not being bred. ______ By initialing I agree that the bought glider(s) will not be ever allowed to breed intentionally or accidentally. I acknowledge doing otherwise is a full breech of this adoption contract. (Must Initial additional Non Breeding Contract) **BREEDING AGREEMENT: Please initial below if the glider(s) is being bought with the intention to breed. ______ By initialing I agree that the bought glider(s) will be bred with care. Will not be allowed to inbreed, or be bred to a rescued or re homed sugar glider.
Section 3: First Rights of Refusal If for any reason the buyer decides to sell or give away the glider at anytime in its lifetime we the seller MUST be contacted. I must approve the new home they are going to and the new owner will sign the same contract or you can give the glider back to me and I will find it an adequate home. If you break this contract legal action can be taken against you. I just want to ensure the best life for my joeys. Partial buybacks may be possible IF you contact me in regards.
Section 4: Deposits and Payments Deposits are non-refundable if buyer decides to back out of their transaction. Any effort to intentionally falsify information during the screening process could result in forfeiture of your deposit. A deposit of 25% or more, depending on the joey, will be required to hold him/her until weaning. If seller is unable to complete sale for reasons reflecting gliders health then deposit and any payments made will be refunded immediately. Full payment must be complete by the joey is weaned and ready for new home. This is generally at the age of 8 weeks OOP but can be extended to 10 weeks OOP if the joey is still weaning or gaining weight. Shipping payments should be made with your final payment.
Section 5: Contract Breech If contract is breeched the purchaser will have 30 days to rectify the situation before we take legal action against them
Section 6: Exchanges /Returns There are no refunds or exchanges for Sugar gliders Purchased, Sugar gliders are wild and Exotic Animals and May bite or Scratch until bonded. Be aware that some Gliders tame quicker than other Gliders and the bonding process may take week to months. And the owners need to show compassion and patience bonding to your new glider. NO REFUND OR EXCHANGES will be offered but If Your decision to return your Glider back over to OutbackGliders, It must be a final as we cannot return the Sugar Glider to you after we start the process of finding permanent home for it. A lot of time and effort is expended in our locating a new home for any Sugar Glider left in our care.
Section 7: Health Guarantee All joeys leave my home healthy and happy but in order to qualify for the 7 day health guarantee your glider must be seen by a glider knowledgeable vet within 48 hours of adoption (you picking the glider up from me or the time of arrival at the airport). If for any reason your glider is showing any signs of possible illness it must be seen by a vet ASAP and reported back to me. No exceptions will be given to this rule under any circumstance. If for any reason your joey passes away within the 7 day time frame a necroscopy must be performed at your cost. If there was something wrong with the glider that was not related to accidental injury, improper diet/nutrition, improper handling, failure to quarantine properly or inadequate living conditions resulting from something that happened while the glider was under YOUR care, you the customer will receive a full refund or credit towards a new glider.
